Etymology and photo studies
Thank you all for your kind and warm wishes. The family is home now and getting some rest after four sleepless nights. I am doing just fine and so are my parents. My father says that I am so adorable 😉
FYI, those who are interested in etymology: the name Dana comes from ancient Ukrainian religion and is attributed to the God’s incarnation of water. “Da” means water and “Na” means mother, hence, The Mother of Water.

BTW, I read your description of the name Dana, and got curious and look what I found: Dana is also an alternate spelling of the name for Danu, a Celtic fertility goddess. “Dana” or “Danah”, in Arabic, means “the most perfectly sized, big, round, and beautiful pearl”. Isn’t that cute?
Name Dana is also found in other languages.
In Sanskrit [from the verbal root da to give] it represents the act of giving; gift, donation; in Buddhism the first of the paramitas: “the key of charity and love immortal”.
It is also of Old English origin, and its meaning is “from Denmark”.
In Hebrew Dana (×“Ö¼Ö¸× Ö¸×”) is meaning judge, arbiter.
